Authenticity is a priority for Craig when shooting, and location and wardrobe are very important key factors. To ensure his client's images are authentic, Craig always checks that his subjects are in the accurate attire and correct environment while also being sure all proper safety measures are being observed.
Craig's knowledge and experience in editorial photography gives him the advantage of visually telling a story with images. He will instinctively pull a viewer through an image through the perspective and action. Using his environment he gives a refreshing point of view. ***I am not sure how to edit this, because I don't know what you were trying to say. - maybe "Through his use of perspective and action, he is able to to show the viewer...? I am not sure.
Growing up in the Midwest, Craig is no stranger to long days and hard work. He has had experiences working in both manufacturing and in agriculture, and as a result he relates closely to many of the subjects he photographs. He is able to connect to his subjects in ways that create a bond that lasts long after the shoot day is over. The knowledge that comes from his experience and the relationships he builds with his subjects are clearly reflected in his images.
A full review of the project with the client and creative team to establish the full needs of the project including visual direction, shot list, design needs, location setting, timeline, and more sets a solid foundation for Craig and his team.
