About Craig

After spending a few years working for newspapers throughout
Michigan, Illinois, and traveling abroad to devastated countries such as Nicaragua and Haiti, I have experienced some of the most wonderful, and most horrific moments in peoples’ lives. Having been on the sidelines of a SuperBowl, documented the last few months of a cancer patients life, and witnessing a young boy being able to hear for the very first time in his life, I have grown to appreciate each and every day I am given to be on this earth to share another strangers story. I accomplish all of this from behind a camera. This is my place. My place to shine and share moments of tears, joy and true love.
I never imagined myself as a wedding photographer, but being invited to document this amazing day is one of the greatest privileges I can imagine. This opportunity isn’t taken lightly. My goal is to capture the true, unscripted moments that unfold though this day. If the group table shots taken during your reception are important moments of your day, then I am not your photographer. But if capturing that special look your Mother or Father gives you before you walk down this aisle is, then I would love the opportunity to capture that. It’s so awesome being able to experience with my clients one of the most intimate moments of their lives, usually reserved only for close friends and family. It truly is a great honor.
Here’s a little more of the day to day information about myself. About three years ago, I returned to West Michigan where I grew up in order to be closer to family. I love my family, especially my niece Isabelle, my girlfriend Lindsey, and baby Ash. I love the outdoors- camping, fishing, bow hunting, hiking, kayaking, and even winter. I’ve hiked two portions of the Appalachian Trail, and hope to finish the entire trail sometime in my life. I can’t start my day without a cup of coffee. I enjoy a good microbrew, but wouldn’t pass up a PBR. I’m a big fan of Apple products, Matthews Bows, skinny ties, newsboy hats, and shoes. Recently, I have been given the opportunity to pursue more of the video world, working on tv shows for the Outdoor Network as been a very exciting new adventure. I am so thankful for each and every opportunity that that Lord continues to bless me with!
